  1. I was just wondering when your next book will be out. The Way of Grace. I have really enjoyed Texas Roads and A Path less traveled. I am anxious to start reading the next book in the series.

    Thank you,
    Jenny

    • Hi Jenny,

Thanks so much for dropping by. I’m glad you’ve enjoyed the books. I’m working on The Way of Grace right now. I had hoped to have it finished by now, but we’ve moved three times this year and started new jobs. Thanks so much for your patience and understanding. I hope to have the book out in 2012.

      Merry Christmas,
      Cathy

  2. I just finished the first two books, and can not wait to read what happens in the third. They were good books. It is so hard sometimes to find good clean Christian books to read and it is refreshing when you do. Thank you for using your gift to honor Him.

    • So glad you enjoyed the books, Rebekah! I also appreciate the words of encouragement. I’m working on book 3 now, which is taking longer than usual because of recent moves. Hope to get it out later this year!

      Blessings,
      Cathy

  3. I have really enjoyed the Miller Creek Series. I’ve looked almost daily for the third book. When will it be released?

    • Hi Pat,

Glad you’ve enjoyed the books. I’m working on book 3 now. It was supposed to be out last year, but God had other plans. I hope to have it finished and in print sometime this summer.

      Many blessings,
      Cathy

  4. waiting for “The Way of Grace” finished the first 2 in 2 days!! Great books. Would like to know when #3 is available.

  5. Hi there,

I started reading a path less travelled last night when I went to bed and managed to completely ignore all housework and finish it at lunchtime today.

I loved the book and your writing style and was hoping that you next book will be out soon.

Thank you for your beautiful words.

    Best wishes
    Vicki

  6. Elizabeth Everist

I just finished reading your first two books on the Miller Creeks series. Is the third one, “The Way of Grace” out yet.
I absolutely loved the first two.

    • So glad you enjoyed the books, Elizabeth. Thanks for the kind words. The Way of Grace will be out later this year. Trust me, I’ll be shouting loud enough for you to hear once it’s out! =)

  7. Joanne Whitaker

Just finished reading the first two Miller Creek books. When will The Way of Grace be out?

  8. G’day Cathy
I only met you 3days ago (through reading Texas Roads) and I have grown rather fond of you and your writing style. I feel as if Muma Beth could easily have been a dear friend of mine. She has such a strong yet loving character. Well done! I wonder if she will be in your next 2 in the series. I’m sure I will enjoy them either way. At the end of my ebook Texas Roads it suggested we “check here for Mama Beth’s recipes” but couldn’t find them. Have they been deleted or have I got the wrong address? I thought I would like to see what my new “dear friend” cooks. Your sister in Christ, Elizabeth from Queensland Australia.

    • Hello Elizabeth! Thanks so much for dropping by. So glad you enjoyed Texas Roads. Mama Beth is indeed in Book Two. I’m currently working on Book 3 and she’s popping up in this story, too! ;) (My mom thinks I need to write a book about the early years of Miller’s Creek–might have to put that on my “To Write” list!)

The recipes have been deleted from the site, but I just happen to have them. Here you go!

      Mama Beth’s Omelets

      (2 servings)

      3 eggs
grated cheddar cheese (if you like ‘em spicy, use pepper jack cheese instead)
      1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
      2 T diced onions
      2 T diced bell peppers
      2 T diced tomatoes
      1/2 cup cooked sausage

Scramble eggs in a bowl then pour into a hot oiled skillet.

Cook till it is almost done all the way through, then pour all ingredients onto the top, and fold in half. Turn flame off and let cheese melt all the way through.

This will feed one hungry cowboy or two chatty females. Enjoy!

      * * * * *
      Ingredients

      1 cup white chocolate chips
      1 cup heavy cream
      4 cups half-and-half

      Directions

In a pan over medium heat, combine white chocolate chips and cream. Stir continuously until white chocolate chips have completely melted. Stir in the half-and-half. Add a dash of vanilla to taste. Top with marshallows or whipped cream if desired. Stir occasionally until heated through.

The most ahhh-mazing cup of cocoa ever!

      Enjoy!
      Cathy

  9. Absolutely loved the first two Miller’s Creek novels. Can’t wait for The Way of Grace! Thank u for such enjoyable stories.

    • So glad you enjoyed the stories, Joanne! I appreciate you taking the time to stop by, and thanks for the encouraging words!

  10. I just finished reading the 2nd book and was wondering when the 3rd book is coming out. I have loved the other two and cant wait to read the 3rd book.

  11. I can’t wait for book #4 of The Miller Creek series…not only are they wonderful novels but they build your faith…and remind you of just how much love, grace, and mercy God gives us every moment of our lives.

    • Thanks for the encouraging words, Janie. So glad you enjoyed the books. We serve an awesome God, and the older I get the more I realize just how amazing He is. The longer I serve Him, the sweeter He grows… Blessings! =)

  12. Have read all the books, wondering when “A Bridge Unbroken” will be released. I have enjoyed all of this series of books. So glad found you, there are such wonderful messages in your books! It does bring back to us all the wonders of our Lord!

    • Since we’ve just moved and purchased yet another “project” house, it will most likely be next year before “A Bridge Unbroken” is released, Alice. If things go more smoothly than expected it could be sooner. I guess the best answer is: “As the Lord wills.” =) God bless you and yours!

  13. Did read that you had moved to NM. Hopefully this project home will go smoothly, but we know it is all in His hands!

  14. I am sure we are all guilty of trying to take control, sometimes it is very hard to listen to Him. My daughter has been praying about a move she wants to make for over a year. Finally, she said last weekend, I wonder if my wish to move is what I am listening to, & not in God’s plan. She has now decided to wait!

    • Alice, my hubby and I have prayed on more than one occasion that God will open and close doors according to His plan and move us out of His way. Glad to hear that your daughter is seeking His plan rather than her own.

  15. I have just found your books! I have just started Texas Roads and I am loving it! I am so excited to read the rest of the series.
